December and January were full of bad surprises in my life. It just reminded once again that life is a chess game too, more or less complex, where you have to protect your valuable pieces from the other color and to achieve this, you may have to sacrifice some of the other pieces to survive.
No matter what number of squares are present on the board, it's a game that begins and ends for a purpose.
Despite all difficulties, i hope i can continue to allocate enough time to keep this "still unique" blog alive and kicking, in near future because it proved to be worth the effort.
This January of 2018, Chesstroid has reached 500.000 hits after 3 years without any artificial support or sponsoring. Today i'm proud of what it has become. To be honest, it's gone way beyond what i'd imagined in the beginning.

I managed to extract the 3 engines and polyglot books in PBchess app and I installed them in DroidFish.

I checked Pbchess. There are Toga 1.3.1 and Fruit 2.1, already in my repository. SF8 build is unknown to me. It's very small, less than 400KB.

Rahul,komodo 11 build is installing apk, you can't extract it,you can extract engines only from apps, for example, pbchess,or droidfish,and even from a tactic puzzle apps

The three engines I managed to extract from PBchess are SF8,Toga 1.3.1,and Fruit 2.1.I also got the two polyglot books which I installed in DroidFish book folder.

The latest armFish and mateFish works well in my device.
Both armfish and matefish work on my device.Also matefish from 20171004 also works for me :-)

Yes it does ;-) though i can confirm that the older matefish 20171004 is in fact a different engine from armfish of the same date.I havent checked the new matefish of 2018 but i assume its different from armfish of 2018

I use both texel and CT800 engines a lot now.The ability to slow the engines down with the nodes per second option allows me to weaken then to a level where i have a chance to actually play them and beat them.I find that at times to be more fun and rewarding than just watching engines play each other in automated games ;-) im hoping other engine authors add this feature to their engines too..

The reason shpuld be the difference between compiling options and environment. The compiler itself is a factor. Pgo too. We all know Alexei has more expertise than Andy in this task.

Chess genius is a paid app.From what i understand Gurcan played the Chess Genius games manually as he did with ios Hiarcs etc.I assume you knew this chysiddh.Currently Chess Genius is in version 3.0.4.
Chess genius lite doesnt work for you? Hmm strange.Chess Genius has always been 32bit so there is only only 32bit binaries in the lite version.it should work.Do you get an error message?

Somedays earlier I extracted libginkgo.2.0.PIE.so from Fritz 15 app.it can be picked up by any GUI,but it will show its name to Fritz 15 instead of ginkgo,, I don't why?

I don't use chess tournament app, but it really working in hawk chess app, a two matches between ethereal 9 and hawk chess was checked right now, the result is , ethereal 9 won first match as white, the second as Blake side was drawn,
Chysidh try to find a strong engine as alphazero lol, I don't think if your ethereal 9 will beat bobcat oldest version haha

Thank you so much Alexei for Cfish 150218! Dynamic Contempt is very interesting...I'm interested about how they finally chose contempt = 18 over 20. Alexei's compiles are indeed faster; I am getting about 200nps more from his cfish than any other arm build as of late!

It's written in Java. So don't expect to import it as a binary to Cfa or Droidfish. However there's a Cockoo chess app featuring Cockoo embedded in it, looking like Droidfish. Isvthis what you need?
Yes but requires full knowledge about the code and the two protocols. The change should be done on the source code. CT800 and Danasah are such cases, done by their authors.
