New Android UCI engine: CiChess 1.3.20170610.ACH

Yet another Stockfish derivative. I don't know who's responsible of it. As i couldn't find any trustable info anywhere, i assume it should be nothing but another tweaked Stockfish referring to the engine ID which displays Marco Costalba and fellas as authors, during the installation process.

    I just checked it with many engines test positions. And what I found is just beyond my imagination. This SF clone is just insanely strong and versatile. The positions which none of any orginal SF versions has been abled to solve till now r mostly solved(not all but who cares) by this in reasonable or very quick time. Not only test positions but it finds the best moves in less time from actual games than any other official development versions of SF. The author(s) has done a tremendous tremendous job. No words r enough for his(their) effort. Just download it and check urself.

    You should also try McBrain and Sugar (with tactical mode available). For Sugar tactical mode = available, null move = disable.

    I also use McBrain. But as I said this one is simply awasome by far. No one comes close. U can clearly understand this from my review(comment above).

      This is something really extraordinary. I have seen no engune like it before. It can ssolve many positions which other engines simply can not solve as they either too difficult for them or they simply give 0.00 evaluations as they completely over look the tricky move which is only move to win. My request to the author to maitain the development of this true genius. I expect to c later versions as they r ready to publish. Once again many many thanx for this marvelous achievement.

      This feature of the engine is taken
      from the clone stockfish named
      Corches. There are special settings
      for time management. When
      analyzing the advantages of such a
      step. But this is not suitable for
      practical games, a feature in the blitz,
      where the standard Cfish (Stockfish)
      surpasses it.

    There has been some major tweaking on this derivative. I, too, have noticed sizable increases in node counts and speed. Does anyone have any information on this engine? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

    Thanks for the explanation Alexei. I currently use both CiChess 1.3 for analysis, but I use your compile of Cfish 20170609 for blitz. Your PGO compiles are by far the fastest.
