There's a chess app in the playstore by Lukasz Oktaba and according to him it uses the Chess engine by Pawel Koziol which we all know is the author of Rodent.I don't know if this is the Rodent engine itself or a different one.I have an easy time beating it at level 5 (it's strongest).

I ask this because android version was compiled using source code from the linux version NOT the windows version and looking at the change logs of windows and linux versions..-there may or may not be some difference to the engine output of Windows vs Linux/Android versions.Thanks if anyone can check that out carefully.

ReplyDeleteThis book is one of the best I used. I didn't know it's from Alexei. I like it's just 8 moves, perfect for engines games. More moves don't make sense, 6-8 moves is the best for engines matches

I agree about the ads being UNwelcome but i guess only Gurcan can do anything about them.Ive been playing against Stockfish and derivatives using nodestime recently..i finally understood how nodestime works..i like it because Stockfish and derivatives will always reproduce the same game..if you follow the same opening sequence at same time and same nodestime.Great uci option.I only wish Droidfish keeps engine output analysis ON SCREEN when a move is played (and not disappear) just like in chess GUI's for PC.
LRall.in my opinion if they add tournament option and position win&lose indicator similar to (analyze your chess app) so droidfish will be an excellent app in whole playstore.

I think some users have already asked Peter Osterlund to implement tournament options for engine matches for Droidfish BUT i remember he recommended they use Chess For Android as he wasn't interested. About komodo I say no..you cannot share or post them here.They are freely available on app store anyway..
