ChessBase has released two minor updates to their app since the introduction of 3.7.1 that featured Stockfish 8. These were labeled 3.7.1.2323 and 3.7.1.2446.
I guess there's nothing but minor bug fixes not clearly announced by the developers. However, i've noticed that Stockfish builds bundled had different CRC's each time. After analyzing, i've decided they should be based on the same code but with updated compile date. I was curious about a hidden update of Stockfish to a newer version. Apperently not the case.
So can it be that the same engine source code is recompiled with every ChessBase Online build update?
