The UCI engine (Sting 5) by JA is absolutely useless and inoperative. After installing in CfA will stop immediately. In addition, as reported by Sting 4.7.
Bad compilation...
As far as i remember from Marek's posts, this version is specifically tailored to better analyze positions against horizon effect. This means it's better for puzzles, long term decisions difficult for engines, rather than scoring more ELO vs other engines.
Regarding the Android compile, i didn't test it. In Rapidroid, i'll remain stuck on 4.8.4.
